Nothing says “personal growth” like a late-night text to an ex you don’t actually want in your life.


Loneliness won. Boredom won. The familiar—misaligned as it is—won, too.


Then came the instant regret. The instant cringe.


But also, the instant reminder: I don’t want that door reopened.Sometimes the cringe is the teacher.


Sometimes the mistake is the rearview mirror—the path you’ve left behind, for good reason.


Progress doesn’t always look pretty. Sometimes it’s messy, humiliating, human.


But it still counts. Even when it’s the text you wish you never sent.


Let the regret be the teacher.
